hurricane katrina... what can be said that hasn't? yes, it is one of the worst natural disasters to hit the US (some call it the US tsunami). everything i hear about it is just ripping my heart out, just like how the tsunami did. i guess that its just life, things like this happen (and we hope/pray for it not to happen often).
i remember that people were talking about how the tsunami came and perhaps it was a sending from god to get rid of non-believers (i'm not very fond of this idea myself) but can that be said of this? i don't think so...
... sorry, i just felt like i needed to say that for some reason ...
man, the war in iraq is not getting us anywhere. iraq is in anarchy, and the "war on terror" will never end... or at least not until we can't think for our selves... becasue if you kill one terrorist, more pop up. they use hate to fuel their missions and ideals, and if you kill one, you only fill more people with hate. maybe the brits have the best idea, the terrorists that attacked there didn't get the same media attention as they did in the US (of course, this is coming from a person who lives in the US so perhaps the british media did give more attention to it). maybe if they don't get noticed (or noticed as much) then they would have less incentive to attack other people... then again this is only a maybe.
i don't know what i'm talking about any more, i'm just typing with out thinking very much, so i'll stop now and go read or watch tv.
btw: a lesson from the various cuatastrophes: be thankful for what you have, because you never know when it's going to be gone forever
